Topic II: Gender: mainstreaming and institutional architecture.
 
NGLS has launched a Call for Comments as a complementary and parallel process to the Consultations between the Secretary-General’s High-level Panel on UN System-wide Coherence and Civil Society Organizations that will take place on 2 July in Geneva.

The Call for Comments will end on 14 July.
 
The online call is targeted to members of civil society to provide an opportunity for them to offer comments and observations on the four themes addressed by the High-level Panel.

The comments submitted through the NGLS Call for Comments will be compiled into a document to be presented to the High-level Panel
 
 
Consultation with Civil Society Organizations

This NGLS Call for Comments is intended as a complementary and parallel process to the Consultations between the Secretary-General’s High-level Panel on UN System-wide Coherence and Civil Society Organizations that will take place on 2 July in Geneva. The Call for Comments is ongoing until 14 July to provide an opportunity for civil society to offer comments and observations on the four themes addressed by the High-level Panel.

NGLS is calling for comments that will mirror the structure of the 2 July Consultations with Civil Society Organizations:

Topic I: Improving UN system-wide coherence: opportunities and challenges.

Topic II: Gender: mainstreaming and institutional architecture.

Topic III: Human Rights: coherence, mainstreaming and effectiveness.

Topic IV: Sustainable development : mainstreaming, normative to operational linkages and institutional issues.

Respond to a specific theme by clicking on the topic number. You can answer to one or several of the comments, but you will need to comment individually to each. Click here for background information on the Consultations.
