More than 500 Tajik women with the assistance of UN Women Fund of Development managed to organize and lead duhkan- farms. This was stated at the discussion of the results of realization of the project “Women’s right on land in Republic of Tajikistan”. The result was broadening women access to land and other economic recources. Moreover, there is seen growth of confidence and competence among country side women in realization their rights on the land. The UNWFD mentioned that the project started in 2003 and is aimed at the support of country side women and broadening their economic possibilities in the context of State Reform on Land in 2002-2005.
