Our portal was created with the aim to assist
in finding information about organizations working on gender
issues and women’s rights in South Caucasus. Portal’s Searching
engine helps to find position data of necessary organization
according to it’s name, manager, country and it’s activity’s
direction.
In appropriate rubrics you will find an information
about women’s networks, coalitions, existing gender libraries and
region’s publications, also you will become familiar with
international documents. The gallery of politician women and
women of art will be of interest. Besides you will get familiar with
the news about women’s international movement in news summary and
place an information about your organization in our catalogue.
We hope that common informational space will
promote the work not only of representatives of Women’s NGO’s, it
will also assist in work of other democratic institutes of civil
society, international organizations, also interested persons. Also
we hope that this site will help to promote the collaboration
between women’s HGO’s on regional and international level.
Materials, placed on the site are gathered by
informational group of Women’s Informational Center.
"Women’s
Informational Center" - as the independent organization has small
experience of work. The organization was registered in 2003,
however, working on the basis of the Georgian National Committee of
the Helsinki Citizen's Assembly since 2000, has got a certain
experience and has passed the way of it’s development.
