UNIFEM focuses on ways to eradicate the various forms of violence against women. This Seminar will provide an opportunity to hear about the current report of the UN Secretary General and the consultation process on various forms of VAW and its manifestations, including harmful cultural, religious and traditional practices and the existing economic, political, legal, social and cultural structures which give rise to the various forms of violence against women in the current global reality.
