What is the PeaceJam 10th Anniversary
Celebration?
Since 1996, PeaceJam has been putting youth together with
Nobel Peace Prize winners, creating a new generation of
leaders committed to positive change. On September 15-17,
2006, the PeaceJam Foundation will be celebrating its 10th
anniversary. This conference will bring together 12 Nobel
Peace Laureates from the PeaceJam Foundation as well as 3,000
youth from around the world for 2 ˝ days to discuss strategies
to create positive change in the world, gain skills, network,
and celebrate the accomplishments of the PeaceJam Foundation.

How do I attend this once-in-a-lifetime
event?
In order to attend this event, you must be an active
PeaceJam participant and have attended at least one PeaceJam
Youth Conference prior to the 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Contact your regional
affiliate office to find out how to get involved!
Participants will apply
through their regional PeaceJam
office. This conference is open to youth 14-19 years of
age who have been involved in PeaceJam in the past. Adults may
also attend as a sponsor of a group of youth, and college
students may attend as mentors from the region.

Applications will be reviewed by your local PeaceJam
Director and they will notify you once a decision has been
made regarding your acceptance.

*Registration fees cover the cost of conference
activities, two continental breakfasts, two lunches, one
dinner, the PeaceJam Public Talk, and the PeaceJam Concert on
Friday evening. Fees do not cover hotel accommodations or
ground transportation.
