Agenda requests poetry contributions that explore gender in the
context of Culture and people's understandings and experiences of
culture. Contributions will be considered for publication in issue
68, working title “Women and Culture”.
Broad aim:
It is intended that in placing a gendered lens on culture,
contributions will concern a rethinking and reclaiming of what
culture means to women.
Length of poetry contributions: Poems to fit on ¼, ½ or full
page of Agenda journal
Deadline: 27 March 2006
Submission requirements:
All submissions must be emailed to director@agenda.org.za.
All submitted poems must come with a picture and bio of the author.
If you would like to publish anonymously please state so clearly in
your submission.
Articles that have not been selected for the Journal will be
published on to the Agenda website.
If you do not want your poem published on our website please state
so clearly in your submission.
Only successful applications will be contacted.
