CEDAW to Hold Three Sessions Instead of Two in
2006

The first CEDAW
Committee 2006 session took place from 16 January to 3 February,
and current plans indicate that the 2nd session will be held in May and
the
third session in August.
The countries reporting at the May session:
Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Cyprus, Malaysia, Saint Lucia,
Turkmenistan, Malawi, Guatemala,
and Romania.
CEDAW: 98 Signatures/180 ratifications,
accessions and successions
Latest Accession: Monaco, 18 March 2005)
